Participants were 4th grade - Ann Patin, 5th grade - Gracie Cavin, 6th grade Caitlin Reed, 7th grade - Cane Lanehart and 8th grade, Tal Redhead. Tal Redhead placed 2nd and will go to the Over- all Bee on April 21. Cane Lanehart and Caitlin Reed placed 4th and will be al- ternates for the overall event. The WCCA students and faculty extend a great big "Thank You" to all who made Field Day 2015 a wonderful success. WCCA students were blessed by a very mean- ingful presentation of "The PLACES 3RD AT SCIENCE FAIR -- Maggie Cavin was a 3rd place Science Fair Winner. -- WCCA Photo Stations of the Cross" on the Wednesday before Eas- ter. Youth from Saint Jo- seph's Catholic Church did a shadow play of Jesus' crucifixion and resurrec- tion. Mrs. Margo Ferguson, Mrs. Edine Seal and Mrs. Katherine Sessions assist- ed with this presentation. Congratulations to Mag- gie Cavin who placed 3rd at the District Science Fair. We are very proud of her accomplishment. .The Science Olympiad had a wonderful showing at the State competition. Luke Littleton and Sam Nicholas took the gold medal in geological map- ping. Anja Davis and Nich- olas Lanehart won bronze in Fermi Questions, and the team of Sam Nicho- las and Haley Whitehead won bronze in Write It/Do It.
