Dale, Jr Broker Agricultural Consultant In recognition of National Infant Immunization Week (NIIW), the Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) is offering free rou- tine immunizations for in- fants and children through 18 years of age at all county health departments the week of April 22-26. "Immunizations are es- sential to give infants and growing children a healthy start in life," said MSDH State Epidemiologist Dr. Thomas Dobbs. "Statistics have shown dramatic declines in vac- cine-preventable illnesses and deaths in Mississippi, thanks to appropriate im- munizations. Though dimin- ished, these vaccine-prevent- able illnesses such as polio, pertussis, and measles re- main ever-present threats. Immunization is the best protection we can offer our children against these often deadly diseases." MSDH -- along with the Advisory Committee for Im- munization Practices, the American Academy of Pedi- atrics and the American Academy of Family Physi- cians -- recommends immu- nizations for infants and children t om birth through 18 years of age for protection against childhood diseases. Vaccinations in this pro- motion include protection for infants, children and adoles- cents against the following diseases: Diphtheria; Vari- cella (chicken pox); Tetanus; Hepatitis A; Pertussis; He- patitis B; Polio; Pneumococ- cal Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib); Meningococcal; Measles; HPV; Mumps; Ro- tavirus; Rubella. Mississippians are strongly encouraged to call their local county health de- partment to check availabili- ty before arriving at the clin- ic. The local singer tried out for Season 12 of American Idol which aired on January 16, 2013. Going through the try- out process, on July 17, 2012, he went to the New Orleans Arena and auditioned in round one, and was selected to move on to round two which was held in October, 2012. In these rounds he sang songs by Trey Songz, Akon, Michael Jackson and an original song. Allen did not make it to round three, but now is trying out for another television show -- X Factor which held tryouts last weekend, April 12-14. "All I can do is put God first," Allen stat- ed. It was hard for those who loved her, to just let her ::' go, but God has a spot in his garden, that needed a gentle soul, So when you start missing Bessie (Mama), remem- ber if you just wait, when God has a spot in his gar- den, shell meet you at the gate. -- From your children, grandchildren, great- grand- children, great-great- grand- children, family and friends. Pd. Ad. Alpha Omega 9/4/1933 4/16/2012 Meet You At The Gate A beautiful garden now stands alone, missing the one who nurtured it -- but now she is gone. Her flowers still bloom and the sun, it still shines, but the rain is like teardrops, for the ones left behind. The weeds lay waiting to take the gardens beauty away, but the beautiful memories of its keeper are in our hearts to stay. She loved every flower, even some that were weeds, so much love she would plant with each little seed. But just like her flowers she was part of God's plan, so when it was her time he reached down his hand. 694 US Hwy. 61 S Woodville, MS Ph. 601-888-3513 Fax 601-888-7503 1.800-550-0715 Wade & Rabbi McCants T.Mac Mini Storage 6g4 US Hwy. 61 S.
