Clerk Tolliver said, "I was just about to ask the board's permission to look into hav- ing some form of electronic notification/warning sys- tem put in place in the county." The board gave the clerk permission to look into this matter and to report his findings to them at a later date. The board went into closed door session at the end of the regular meeting. After re- turning to open session the board voted 5-0 to allow Tax Assessor Jeremy Ephion two days of overtime work for his staff if the county computer system is back up and run- ning this week. Due to the recent prob- lems with the county's com- puter system the tax asses- sor said his staffwould need to work overtime to get his office back up to date.
